Movie Night: South Bronx

Families in the South Bronx community are challenged by socioeconomic obstacles. Alongside the Equality team, I created an uplifting outlet so that families would come together as a community and enjoy what brings us all together.

The idea? Create large-scale community events such as “Outdoor Family Movie Night” and “Community Carnival”

• 25-Foot outdoor movie screen with block buster films (Kong: Skull Island and Transformers: Age of Extinction)

• Free entry and free popcorn

• Face painting and balloon animals

• Inflatable outdoor slides

• 300- 500 Attendees

• Partnerships: TD Bank, YMCA, Dave & Busters, NYC Elected Officials, MetroHealth
